Mohawk Braided Updo Tutorial

Good morning ladies! Today I have a special tutorial for you all on this look, Don't be freaked out by the looks of it. It's actually only a French braid but just with a few touches to it to make it look a little "Vogue". I was scrolling through Pinterest a few weeks ago, and found a photo of this hairstyle so I decided to do it, and now here is a tutorial for you. I'm still figuring out the best way to do all of these tutorials so please bear with me as I learn! I made my bed for you though, at least. #yourewelcome

How was everyone's weekend?! Mine was crazy. I woke up at 6am Saturday to do hair for a friend's wedding and then we attended the wedding which was SOOO much fun. As we walked out the door to leave, they had an In-N-Out truck with a sign telling us to take some for the road. If you aren't lucky enough to live in one of the states that has In-N-Out, I'm sorry. And come visit. They have the most delicious burgers and fries! I don't normally work Sundays but I did a job doing hair for a dance catalogue photo shoot. It's always super fun but just a busy weekend! So needless to say, I was so excited to have the day off yesterday and luckily Ben did too! We just worked out and then laid around all day. It was perfect.

What other tutorials would you guys like to see? Let me know! And thanks for reading!

Half-Up Mohawk Tutorial

Good morning ladies! I did this hairstyle last week and had a ton of response to it and a few requests for a tutorial so here it is! It's really much easier than it looks! I hope it all makes sense, and please let me know if you have any questions!
I had a great birthday weekend! My hubby and I went to a concert at House of Blues where my high school friend performed! Her name is Ashlee Morton, and you should DEFINITELY check her out. Her voice is incredible and her songs are so full of emotion. My fave. Then on my actual birthday I went running while my hubby made breakfast, and then I had waffles and ice cream for breakfast! My brother and his wife do it for birthdays, and I was with them one time when they did, and I decided I wanted it to be our birthday tradition too because it's so delish. I mean hello, ice cream for breakfast? Yes please! We went kayaking in Newport Harbor after breakfast and then to my grandma's for swimming and dessert with our families! I haven't played in a pool or did flips off the diving board like I did that day in years. It was so fun! Oh and then last night I got to go to sushi with one of my best friends, and we ate so much and chatted about life, and I had a firework type thing in my birthday dessert so it was pretty awesome! Anyways, thanks for reading! I'm off to lunch with some friends to chat about an upcoming fashion/pop-up shop event so stay tuned for details on that!

Double Fishtail Tutorial

Hey ladies! This week has been slow for me at work so that means I spent the day at the beach today (yes, please!) and had time to film a new hair tutorial for you all. I absolutely love this braid! Hope you do too! Let me know if you have questions!

Triple Snake Braid Hair Tutorial

Hiiiii guyssss! So I did it! My first ever video hair tutorial! It was actually much easier to do than I expected. I've been nervous to do one because I thought it would be hard, and I would feel awkward like I was talking to myself but it actually wasn't that bad at all! Sooo here it is! I LOVEEE braids, and I love trying all sorts of different things with them. The options are endless! I hope you like this one and it makes sense and all that. If you try it out, let me know how it goes for you, and post a photo, and tag me @mox_ie and hashtag #moxiebennetthair on Instagram so I can see it and comment! And don't let the appearance of this style fool you, all you have to know how to do is a basic braid!
P.S. Sorry for the awkward video still below. Not sure how to fix that. :P Scroll down for video! Enjoy!
P.P.S. If you don't care about watching me curl my hair and prepare it etc and just want to know how to do the braid, skip to 5:14 on the video!
