Well, I can't believe it! All of you helped me to reach 1K on my Instagram (if you're not following already you should be! @mox_ie). And all I can say is THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. This whole blogging thing was a dream of mine, and you all have helped it to become a reality! I seriously can't believe how much fun I have had with this the last few months! Not only has it been a fun creative outlet for me, I have also already made some wonderful friends! And I can only imagine how much better it will get in the months to come. A special thank you to my family and friends and the strangers who have followed along ever since the beginning of my journey. You have no idea what it means to me, and I sincerely thank you. So cheers to 1K and praying for 14K. :P Because I believe that dreams do come true!

I guess I should probably talk about my outfit real quick! These pants. Do yourself a favor and get a pair! So comfy and so flattering. I love them! I paired them with this graphic tee I found a while back at TJ Maxx and my new hat from Coco Rose Boutique. Loving burgundy right now.

Hope you all have the best Thursday! Don't forget tomorrow night is girl's shopping night with Triple Thread and Aly of Living in Style OC! Hope to see you there!

God is GREATER

Shirt: The Light Blonde here (Check their Instagram @thelightblonde for restocking info); Skirt: Windsor Store, similar here
Kimono: Ross; similar here; Boots: Target, similar hereBelt: Thrifted; Bag: H and M, similar here

Can I just tell you how AMAZING this shirt is?! The symbols on the shirt stand for "God is greater than our ups and downs". I absolutely love it. It's an amazing reminder that no matter what happens in this life, God IS greater. I'm not usually one to wear "religious" t-shirts because they tend to be to blatant for me. Don't get me wrong, I will tell anyone who asks about relationship with God. I love this tee because it has an amazing message behind it but also just looks like a really awesome graphic tee. The Light Blonde has created a winner with this one! I paired it with this acid wash midi from Windsor and some boots and a kimono. I've been obsessed with adding a kimono to everything lately because I think it can complete an outfit perfectly!
Ben and I are currently in Utah visiting my brother and his wife and their three girls. We are having a blast! We went on this amazing hike yesterday to a waterfall and also to get ice cream at Farr's, this famous place out here. The girls are so fun and are constantly asking questions and they call us "Uncle Ben" and "Aunt Christine", and I love it. Hope you all have the best weekend!

xoxoxo,
Christine

Montana Blues: Part 1

Top: Montana Blues here
Denim: Nectar Clothing; similar here
Sweater: Styles for Less; similar here
Necklace: Forever 21; similar here
Shoes: Target; similar here
Bag: H and M; similar here

For this shoot I had the privilege of working with Montana Blues, a brand new online boutique! This amazing top is from them, and it's so cool because it's a one size fits all top that has TWO ways of wearing it! I will be doing a second post tomorrow showing you the other way that this top can be worn! I'm also obsessed with the color of this top! I wore it the other night out on our date night and realized I don't have anything in this color, and it might be one of my new favorite colors. To celebrate their grand opening, Montana Blues is giving all of my readers 15% off of your purchase with the code MOXIE15. Make sure you take advantage of this deal and don't forget to follow Montana Blues on Instagram as well!

Sooo I am SO VERY EXCITED because tomorrow morning we leave to Utah to see my brother and his family. I have a brand new niece I haven't met yet and two other nieces who I just can't wait to see. I'm in dire need of a vacay. The last few days at work have been so busy. I had a color correction which if you're a hairstylist you know that those two words together mean hours and hours with the same client trying to achieve in one visit what should take months to accomplish. Super stressful. Plus at one point last week, I came home and had THIRTEEN people to text back about hair appointments! Yikes! I literally cannot wait to get away with my hubby and spend time with family. I'm pretty sure we haven't been on more than a weekend getaway since our honeymoon last year. Can't. Wait.

Hope you all have the best day!

Christine

In the Trenches

Dress: H and M; similar here

Shoes: TJ Maxx; similar here

Good morning, and happy Thursday! I'm sitting in bed with coffee so I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a good day. In the words of teenagers nationwide, I will say about this outfit, "I literally can't even..." :P. I was wanting a trench coat for a while but was still unsure of them until I ended up snagging this one at a sale at H and M. I'm. In. Love. I told my hubby when I was getting ready that I felt like a character Mad Men, and he looked at me like I was a weirdo and said, "You mean like the guys in Mad Men?" (BTW we don't even watch that show; I'm just guessing :P). Yes, duh the guys. Whatever. Anyways, I love this whole combination, and it's perfect for us here in Southern California who have quite a bit longer to wait for cooler temperatures. I will say though, I can't wait to pair it with some distressed denim! Oh, is anyone else loving burgundy for the coming fall season! I know I am!

Sooooo I'm super duper duper duper excited because in a week my hubby and I are going to Salt Lake to see my brother, sister-in-law and their three little girls. I have a four-month-old baby niece that I haven't met yet either! I can't wait! The girls will be so much fun, and we always eat the best food and hang out and my brother and his wife show us all around their favorite places. I'm also hoping to bump into Cara Loren, duh. And why couldn't Amber wait a week to move? Um hellllloooo. :P Those are my two favorite bloggers and the original inspiration behind my starting mine!
