Striped Maxi

Happy Friday, Everyone! Hope you all have had a fabulous week! As for me, mine has been mostly vacation-like! I think everyone got their hair done right before summer was in full swing, and so I had a little bit of a dead week. I would have liked to be working more but since I make my own schedule, I was able to plan my week so I had some time off! I got to go down to the beach twice and spend some time with friends. So great. Now I work today and tomorrow, and hopefully my husband and I are gonna go to the OC County Fair Saturday night because it opens this weekend!

This outfit is fairly simple. I paired a striped maxi with my trusty booties (seriously BEST purchase; you should still get them :P). I brought along a sweater just in case, and just pulled my hair into a simple ponytail. As a hairstylist, I'm always doing so many different things with my hair and usually wearing it down so a simple ponytail is sometimes a nice change. Thanks for reading! Have the best weekend!

Floral Romper and a Statement Stone

Hello, ladies! How was that Fourth of July weekend for ya?! Let me just say, I wish I could go back. Three days of no work, my hubby, friends and family and fireworks, and of course, ice cream and coffee. Basically perfect. Oh, and we went to the beach too. And I got to see my cutie pie nephew and babysit while everyone else was unpacking after moving. So I definitely got the better end of the deal. 

Now on to this outfit! I am LOVING this floral romper. Its light and airy and has a Free People vibe to it but its price point was better suited to my budget needs. (Thanks, TJ Maxx for always delivering!). I paired it with my Forever 21 denim vest and this new gem from Shop Pretty Pants! It's the cutest little bright pink stone, and all the stone shapes and sizes vary which I think is pretty cool because yours and mine won't be exactly the same! Make sure you check them out! A Little Western Love

Happy Tuesday, ya'll! How was everyone's weekend? Mine was fabulous because my hubby came home, and now all is right in the world! We got to spend some QT together all day Sunday, and it couldn't have been better. And even though we're back at work, at least he's home at night for snuggles!

I got this dress a few months back at Kohl's, of all places! I love the fun faux leather detailing (and it's still available below!). My FAVE part of this though is this amazing necklace. Don't be surprised if you see it in a few posts! I got it at Charlotte Russe a few weeks ago and have been wearing it non stop! It's sold out online, but you might get lucky and find it in store. I'd Hit That

I know, I know. Slightly inappropriate, but oh-so-much fun. I was out shopping with my friends the other day, and I showed them this shirt, and they were like you HAVE to get it; it's so funny! So I did, and here we are. I paired it with my new fave high-waisted denim from Kaitlyn and these Target sandals that I can't stop wearing!

How's everyone's week going? Mine is passing fairly quickly already which is good because I need my hubby to come home like yesterday, and I still have to wait four more days! The rest of the week should go by fast for me though because I work and then am going to Palm Springs to celebrate one of my BFFs 30th birthdays! Can't wait for some sunshine and good times with mah girls!
