Leather Track Shorts and a Statement Necklace

The most basic outfit can be dressed up just by adding some texture and accessories! I love these shorts! They're so comfy, and they add a little more pizazz to your outfit than your basic black shorts. Also, this necklace. Can't stop wearing it! It's so glam and dresses up any outfit! I've decided that having a white button up shirt is a must. I've worn it three times just this week! And I love that it has some texture to it so it's not as basic as it could be!

Happy Friday! It's another busy weekend ahead. My hubby is gone for his monthly training for the Marines. And I have work and a bridal shower tomorrow, and then I'm doing a wedding Sunday. Seems like that's the MO for this month!

Summer Dress and Braids #again

I literally CANNOT get away from floral this season. It's on almost everything, and I love it! It's so feminine! I love how a cute sweater tied around the waist can add so much to an outfit too!

Ben took these photos on our way to get a quick drink in the little downtown area near our house. There are several cute shops and restaurants and a Saturday farmers market there, and we hardly ever go down there. We decided we need to start going down there more often. It's only two blocks away so how could we not! Tomorrow is back to crazy work again! A twelve hour day in the salon! So funny, last month was kind of slow, and then all of the sudden, clients and weddings and photo shoots galore! Busy but I love it.

Stripes and Sombreros

Boy am I glad it's Monday. I know most people hate Mondays but with my hair dresser schedule, I live for Mondays! I even worked yesterday so today is my first day off in like six days. I plan to drink lots of coffee, lounge around, run and then lounge around some more. Maybe fold the giant pile of laundry in the living room if I feel like it.
If you haven't noticed yet, I'm fully embracing the 90's comeback. Loving overalls and brights and florals and snapbacks. This top is actually a peplum I tucked in but I am so ready to buy some bodysuits! (I actually can't believe I'm saying that. I LOVED them as a kid. For some reason I thought they were so cool and made me feel grown up. haha weird.) Also, you can't tell very well in these photos, but this lip color is an awesome orangey color. Love it. Whatever Forever: Business Casual

It's FRIDAY! Weeeee! That means my bff gets married tomorrow, and I get to dance my booty off (my FAVE) so it's a good day! I love a little business casual look every once in a while! Makes me feel all professional. And with this outfit, I threw in a fun graphic tee to make it not so serious. I love this blazer too! Snagged it in at Kohl's shopping spree with my gram. I'm also loving experimenting with knots in my hair! This style I just knotted my hair and add pieces each time like you would with a french braid. P.S. Don't mind my chipped nails! #eeeeek. One day at the salon cutting and coloring and washing ruins any paint job. Have a great weekend! xoxoxo

Sunflowers and Festival Season

Who's ready for festival season?! I got my wardrobe but not my ticket, unfortunately. But maybe those of you going will still be inspired! If it were up to me, I would be going to Stagecoach. (But probably in Coachella clothes :P) I LOVE country music. I have had Luke Bryan's "Play it Again" on repeat these last few days. OH, also. Sunflowers are my FAVORITE. And the hubby knows that so we had a bouquet on our kitchen table, and I grabbed one on the way out!

As for this outfit I love a cute crop with high waisted shorts and a kimono. Keeps the crop top looking classy!
